The Department of Health and Social Development office in Makkovik hosts a community supper once a month.
Linda Pottle is the team leader for DHSD Makkovik.
Pottle says that the community supper will be held at the town hall on May 31st, 2017.
She adds that there will be an educational presentation made by a representative from Labrador Grenfell Health, (LGH).
Murrie Walters is a counsellor with LGH and he will be presenting information on anxiety.
Pottle says that this Month’s theme is based on mental health.
Everyone is welcome to attend the supper that will serve a variety of dishes and some door prizes.
In other DHSD news, the next senior’s supper in Makkovik will be held on June 1st.
