The March Assembly Sitting of the Nunatsiavut Government took place in Hopedale on the 6th to 8th of March, 2017.
Tyler Edmunds is the Speaker for the Nunatsiavut Assembly.
He says the Ministers and AngajukKât gave updates on what is happening in their Departments, and the Ordinary Members and chair persons presented updates as well.
Edmunds says there was quite a bit on the agenda in terms of legislation and bills considered.
Four bills were considered and passed during this sitting.
Edmunds says that on top of these bills of course there were quite a few questions from our assembly members to the ministers.
He also added an audio archive of the assembly in both English and Inuktitut is available on the NG website at www.nunatsiavut.com.
