The Nain Moravian Church held its annual meeting for the New Year last Sunday.
The meeting was held at the Nunatsiavut Boardroom at 1 pm.
Although not many members as expected attended, the meeting was still productive.
Gordon Obed is the Lay Minister of the Church.
He says the members were pleased to hear of Simon Kohlmeister returning to his position as Chapel servants’ and Community Elders’ AngajukKak.
Obed says there were discussions about the concerns regarding chapel servants not attending church services, after they had given their oath in church.
He says there will be letters about this situation written mainly to those who did not attend this meeting.
There will also be letters sent to the Recreation Department and Department of Health and Social Development regarding their programs and activities on upcoming special traditional days.
