Discussions on climate change were held in Nain recently.
OK Radio spoke with Harry Borlase, the Director of Non-Renewable Resources in the Department of Lands and Natural Resources with the Nunatsiavut Government.
Borlase says a group of about 30 people participated in the workshop on Tuesday, January 10th, and Wednesday, January 11th, 2017.
The purpose of the workshop was to get experiences and ideas from people in the community who are dealing with climate change, and how they are adapting to climate change.
Employees from the Federal Government are going to use the ideas and include them in a Climate Change Adaptation Strategy they are working on.
