Meanwhile, the Makkovik fish plant is into its cleanup, which started this past Monday.
The cleanup is expected to be finished next week.

He says the snow crab landings totaled 530,259 pounds this summer, which is about the same amount as last year.
As for turbot, a total of 436,059 pounds was landed, which amounts to less than last year.
Andersen says the snow crab fishery went well, and the fishermen were landing good-sized crab, which were bigger than the year before.
The turbot fishermen also landed bigger fish.
He says there are still 30 plant workers employed.
Andersen added processing the fish with the new equipment they have has worked out really well.
