Nunatsiavut’s President-elect, Johannes Lampe, will take the oath of office during a swearing-in ceremony in Nain tomorrow, Wednesday, May 4.
Mr. Lampe, the only candidate to be nominated for the position, was acclaimed President-elect on April 7.
He will become the third President in Nunatsiavut’s history.
The swearing-in ceremony, which will be conducted by community elder Rita Andersen, will take place at 10:30 am at the Nunatsiavut Government Administration Building.
The public is welcome to attend.
