Young Women’s Day in Nain is less than a month away.
Miriam Lidd is the captain for the young women.
She says there were a total of 12 young women who attended the first meeting.
10 of those will be going for the first time.
The next meeting will be tomorrow.
Lidd says that most of the girls have the things they need for their traditional dress.
She is still looking for someone to help co-captain with her.
Lidd also says that she has 2 definite cooks, but is unsure about the 3rd one.
She adds that anyone who wants to help out or donate can feel free to help out with whatever they can.
Items such as pink or red dresses, or blazers, may be needed.
