Soldiers from 4 Engineer Support Regiment, or ESR, are in Nain to conduct Exercise Northern Sapper 2016.
Captain J.J. Bujold is from Gagetown, New Brunswick and he was at our studio today.
He says the exercises will be happening in Happy Valley, Goose Bay, North West River, Postville, and Nain until February 23rd.
Captain Bujold says they are conducting long range snowmobile patrols.
The patrol groups will also be conducting winter survival training and staying overnight at different locations along the trails.
