Residential School Survivors Trial Still On

Some Residential School Survivors and their lawyers were in court in St. John’s this week.

Steven Cooper is a lawyer with Ahlstrom Wright Oliver and Cooper.

He says there are about nine residential school survivors on trial for the very first time from Newfoundland and Labrador.

Cooper says today may be the last of the trial for some of these survivors.

He added he hopes that everything went well for each of the residential school survivors who testified at the trial.

Tune in again to AtjiKangitut tomorrow to hear Cooper with more information about the trial.
