Gas Down Over Six Cents

As predicted by the Consumer Group for Fair Gas Prices, there has been a significant drop in the price of gas today.

The maximum that can be charged for a litre has dropped by just over six cents.

Most other fuel prices are down as well.

Diesel has decreased by four cents.

Furnace and stove oil have dropped by three cents.

Residential propane is up, but only by fractions of a cent.

Consumer Group spokesman George Murphy cites financial trouble in China as a reason for the lower prices.
