Gas Predicted To Drop Six Cents

Financial trouble in China could have a huge effect on prices at the pump this week.

According to the Consumer Group for Fair Gas Prices, gas is expected to drop by six cents a litre this week, one of the steepest price changes in several months.

Spokesman George Murphy says other fuel prices should drop as well.

Diesel is expected to go down by close to 4 (3.9) cents a litre, and heating and stove oil may be decreasing by just over 3 and a half (3.7) cents a litre.

The official prices from the Public Utilities Board (PUB) will be released tomorrow.
