Torngasok Cultural Centres summer projects are going well.
Dave Lough is the Executive Director.
He says the ambassadors in Hebron had their first visit with tourists on board the Cruise Ship, Ocean Endeavor.
As well the Hebron Moravian Church restoration project is ongoing.
Lough says an 8 week Language Inuktitut Training Program (LITP) is taking place in Goose Bay’s college.
And there are some Inuktitut sessions taking place at the Piguttuk Family Resource Centre, which is in partnership with Department of Health and Social Development.
He says with the Illusuak project, the crew is now putting concrete on the foundation.
Lough says they are also advertising the position for a Language Program Coordinator.
