There was word that the MV Astron’s crane had broken down last week.
Peter Adams is the CEO and President of Nunatsiavut Marine Inc.
He says there was an electrical issue with the vessels crane when she was in Lewisporte, and it was fixed before heading up north to Nain.
Adams says so at that time the Astron’s crane was not broken.
Meanwhile he added the Astron and the Northern Ranger have been on their schedule runs to date.
