Temporary repairs to the wooden bridge which crosses the brook in Nain started last week.
Joe Dicker is the AngajukKak for the Nain Inuit Community Government (NICG).
He says that the repairs will be finished this week.
Kelly Sakasagiak Sr., Martin R. Jararuse, Mark Haye and Adam Igloo were hired on to repair the bridge.
The bridge is now useable as they are just finishing minor repairs.
Dicker adds engineers from the Canadian Armed Forces Reserves are expected to do permanent repairs to the bridge in the fall.
