8 Junior Canadian Rangers will be travelling to Goose Bay once the weather clears for a Basic Summer camp.
Heather Angnatok is the Patrol Leader for the JCR’s in Nain.
Angnatok says this will be a fun event for the JCR’s.
Activities will include kayaking, canoeing, on-field training, and other fun sports.
One member of the Junior Canadian Rangers, Kirsten Dicker, will also be travelling to Happy Valley- Goose Bay for leadership training.
Once that training is done, she will be heading back to Goose Bay to help work with the Basic camp.
Angnatok added that two Canadian rangers from Nain, Kris Shiwak and Sue Webb, will be heading out with the JCR’s to help at the camp.
