The Nunatsiavut Government today officially unveiled a
special logo making the 10th anniversary of its establishment
and the implementation of the Labrador Inuit Land Claims Agreement.
The logo, with the theme Nunatsiavut: 10 Years of Continued Progress,
depicts a kudlik (traditional Inuit lamp),with flames transforming into a drum dancer beneath
the Northern Lights. It was designed by Monica Peach, a graphic designer with Sananguativut

The logo will be used on all Nunatsiavut Government marketing and promotional materials
to mark the historic milestone. A number of events will also take place in the coming months,
leading up to community feasts and gatherings on Nunatsiavut Day, December 1.
