The Provincial Government announced the Budget for 2015 last Thursday.
There are some concerns and disappointments for Labrador which came out from the budget.
That’s according to Yvonne Jones, Member of Parliament (MP) for Labrador.
She says the concerns are that the Request for Proposal (RFP) for a new vessel for the North coast of Labrador has been cancelled.
Jones says we are back to square one in having to go through another proposal.
Another issue is that Air Labrador will have to start paying a landing fee where she lands in any airstrip on the north and south coast.
Jones adds Vale NL is not sharing the $230 million which they gave to the Provincial Government.
