Free Theater Workshop Taking Place In Nain

A free theatre workshop is coming to Nain.

In this workshop, you will explore how your own imagination, experience, and stories that interest you can be used to create theatre.

This will involve moving, telling stories in different ways with your voice and your body.

You do not need any experience making theatre; but if you are interested in writing, dancing, singing, music, or acting, and how these different ways of telling stories can work together, this workshop will interest you.

Tim Borlase is joining Ker Wells to teach the free theatre workshop this weekend.

Ker Wells is a theatre actor, director, and teacher with 25 years of experience in making theatre.

He came to Labrador for the Creative Arts Festival in 1995 and 1996, and has been hoping to come back since.

The workshop will take place in Nain on May 8th and 9th.

You’ll work on Friday evening and Saturday during the day.

The location of the workshop is at the school.

All ages are welcome and you have until the end of the day tomorrow to register.

If you want to register for the workshop, please contact Sophie at 922-2568 or Peter at 922-1135.

If you have questions you can also contact Ker directly at ker_wells@sfu.ca.
