The Hopedale Inuit Community Government is still delivering bulk water to residents for their daily use.
Jim Tuttauk is the Angijukak at the Hopedale ICG.
Tuttauk says there is no change since the last time we spoke.
There is still no water on the Sub Division and American Road, but the Hotel does have running water.
Tuttauk says the Nunatsiavut Health and Social Development building doesn’t have running water yet.
The main line in the sub division is still frozen.
There is also a broken line in the Village area that needs to be repaired.
Tuttauk says right now they are jack hammering to find the leak.
He says they hope to get funding within 2 weeks to repair the water reservoir.
Hopedale residents can get bottled water from the Hopedale ICG office.
