There are a lot of activities going on at the Labrador Correctional Centre (LCC).
Jim Hickman is the Assistant Superintendant at LCC.
He says some of the programs include adult basic education, arts and crafts, and an Inuit group healing circle.
LCC inmates can also participate in work training and mental health and addiction programs.
One of the more interesting programs they have going is land-based.
Inmates are able to engage in traditional activities such as hunting and fishing.
