An Elder’s Conference will be held in Hopedale March 16-20th, 2015.
Doris Flowers is the Elder’s Coordinator for the Department of Health and Social Development in Hopedale.
She says twenty-one elders are invited to the conference this year.
Three elders from each of the communities are invited.
Elders from Nain to North- West River may be attending.
She says there are some youth invited as well.
So in total there may be thirty-one people in attendance.
The facilitator will be Beverly Hunter.
