Parks Canada and Students on Ice are in their second year in partnership for a summer student position at Torngat Mountains National Park.
We spoke with Jenna Andersen, the Promotions Officer with Parks Canada.
She says there is one week left to apply for the Parks Canada Summer Job at the Torngat Mountains National Park.
She says the program will not be offered again after the third year, until another partnership is formed.
This summer job position is for youth ages 16-18 years.
Andersen says the youth selected will have the opportunity to travel with the Students on Ice Arctic Expedition this summer.
The deadline to apply is March 11, 2015.
She says the summer student will begin on June 29 and work until August 28, 2015.
Youth can pick up an application form at the Parks Canada office.
