Update: RCMP Recover Body In Labrador

RCMP have recovered a body 18 km SE of Davis Inlet in Labrador.

At 10:20 am this morning, RCMP were alerted by a private plane flying in the vicinity of Davis Inlet, NL, to the siting of possible human remains on the sea ice approximately 31 km from Natuashish, NL.

According to Sergeant Boyd Merrill of the RCMP, the body was recovered by a helicoptor dispatched to the area.

It was then taken to Happy Valley-Goose Bay and arrived there at approximately 2:30 pm local time this afternoon.

An autopsy to identify the body may take place tomorrow, depending on the availability of a medical examiner.

    the way you guys got the name of the page “possible human remains on the sea ice” made me think that it was Jake. you guys should of put the name of the near by place where the possible human remains are.
