The Newfoundland and Labrador’s House of Assembly sitting was held last week.
Randy Edmunds is the Member of the House of Assembly for the Torngat Mountains District.
Edmunds says that seats for the Labrador region will not be reduced.
The Premier for NFLD and Labrador, Paul Davies, announced earlier this month that he wanted his government to reduce the number of MHA seats from 48 to 38.
Edmunds says that the number of seats in the house of assembly will be reduced from 48 to 40.
