The Youth Division with the Nunatsiavut Government will be attending the Northern Exposure 2015 trade show this week.
Northern Exposure 2015 is taking place from January 27-29 at the Delta St. John’s Hotel and Mile One Stadium.
We spoke with Heather Angnatok, the Administrator for the Youth Division.
She says herself and 5 youth will be attending the trade show this week in St. John’s.
One youth was picked from each coastal community of Nain, Hopedale, Postville, Rigolet, and Makkovik.
She says the intent of attending the Northern Exposure trade show this week is to introduce and educate youth about Labrador economics.
Angnatok says she hopes that the 5 youth will benefit from the experience.
And learn from other exhibits and conferences they will be attending.
She hopes the youth can deliver a fashion show before the end of 2015 and use what they will learn at the trade show.
