The 26th Annual Trout Festival will be kicking off in Makkovik today, August 9th and going until August 13th.
Due to the bad Weather the Cardboard Boat Race and Water Mania that was planned for today is moved to Wednesday August 10, 2016.
Today in the Gym at 1:30 is Fun Time for ages 5 and under and 2:30 fun time for ages 6-12 .
The Trout Festival Parade will be starting at the School at 6:3o.
Events for Tomorrow, Wednesday, will start with a dinner provided by Innu Mikun then a Trout Festival Fair.
There will also be a community BBQ, chase the Ace, Zombie Chase, Teenage Competition, Cardboard boat race, and to end off the day will be the Fireworks.
